The Small and Smaller Boat Show
hosted by New London Community Boatworks takes place:
Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Crocker's Boatyard (56 Howard St, New London, CT).
Admission is free for this family-friendly community fundraiser.
Event Activities and Schedule
Adults can bring and display their own small or handmade boats on trailers.
Kids can bring their own homemade creations and share stories.
Community boat naming and official launch for the boat built during Celebrate New London and painted at the Art Block Party.
Live music by Kevin Williams, face painting, and food trucks.
Unique watermelon boat carving and open-mic boatstories.
Green & Golden St. Block party
We are building a cardboard boat as a community, to be part of the creative hart of the block party.

An interactive session for makers and thinkers to collaborate, connect, and spark new ideas.
Summer Camp at SPARK maker space
A summer builders camp for 10+ age group. where we are going to be building a decorating 2 foot cardboard boats.
